About Our President

Jonathan Zaleski is the President and Founder of The PR Collective as well as the head of TPRC Los Angeles, the network’s entertainment and automotive aftermarket hub. Zaleski is a 19 year veteran of public relations with a long string of marquee clients.

Zaleski grew up on Long Island in New York, earned a Business Administration degree upstate from the State University of New York at Albany and became the youngest MBA-recipient from Northeastern University in Boston before relocating to Los Angeles to begin his career in communications, where he lives today.

Zaleski worked for Sony Home Video, Spelling Entertainment, and handled a pair of soap operas for CBS Television among other positions before becoming the Director of the Television Department at Rogers & Cowan, one of Hollywood’s most influential PR agencies. There he crafted and implemented communications strategies for primetime and cable programming, production companies, dot-coms, entertainment technology companies and television networks.

He later made a move to sister agency Bragman, Nyman, Cafarelli to work with Nickelodeon and American Movie Classics on key projects including the “Rugrats” film properties and the launch of “Jimmy Neutron.”

Zaleski went solo in 2000 and opened Z-Comm Public Relations, continuing to handle entertainment programming and producers. In 2003 Zaleski turned into a PR-ntrepreneur, with the launch of The PR Collective, redubbing his private practice as TPRC Entertainment at the same time.

Zaleski joined forces with new media PR guru Eric Schwartzman, a former colleague from Rogers & Cowan, rolling TPRC Entertainment into Schwartzman PR in 2006. Zaleski resumed running his own agency, now under the banner of TPRC Los Angeles, in early 2008 with a mix of entertainment, automotive, fitness and lifestyle clients.

Zaleski continues to provide public relations campaigns and advanced social media strategies for modern-thinking companies. He also occasionally teaches an undergraduate class on Writing for Public Relations in the Department of Journalism for California State University of Northridge (CSUN).
